Trying to get a estimate on freight for 2 fully dressed whippled 525's from Va. to Fla.Anyone ship engines before.Thanks Rich

A few years ago, I had a small block shipped from Ohio to Florida. It was less than $200, for what it's worth.

Linnie sent one to Louisiana a year ago.....mine are going next month. I was told to expect $500 if you insure it for what it's worth.

I talked to a company that said $565 for both engines from SML to Pompano.No ins. at these point.

What do you say Rich. You give me $565 for gas (and beer ) and I'll run 'em down for ya in my truck!!!

When do you need them down there Rich?

I guess you would end up paying for fuel then cause we all know $565 will only cover your bar bill for a night in Fla.

Plan on re rigging the week of Jan. 8 so i'm ready to kick Sydwayz azz on the way down to K.L..

I took them out for the winter to do a few minor things before i towed the boat to pompano to get the clear redone and now i'm going to do the A/T Thunder run jan 20 so i have to install the engines and drives so i don't have to ride with Sydwayz's girl on he's boat while he sits back at the dock.
Boat should be done before the Miami show and Dustin is going to water test to see if we can do better the week of the show.Are coming to the Miami show?
