Anybody hear of aftermarket MAP sensors for 525's that supposedly increase HP to 545.

I could be wrong but that does not sound correct. The MAP sensor is just that....a sensor. It reads the manifold pressure(vacume) and sends the reading to the ECM. The ECM is programmed to supply the correct amount of fuel and spark for a corresponding manifold pressure. Reprogramming the ECM to give you more fuel or spark for a given pressure may add power but I don't think that changing the sensor will work.
