Default Does anyone know this 292 Formula

Does anybody know this boat? They say it's in excellent condition but from the pictures the starboard outdrive has some damage and a stain on the carpet which is no big deal and some type of tape or something on the deck in front of the windshield. Here is a link to the boat if it works. It's here on OSO classifieds and Chicagofountain

Thanks for any help on this boat.

that looks to be just paint off the skeg, no big deal. Hang out anywhere shallow and it happens. The "stain" is a wet spot from not having the cover support pole up. You can see where the water sat in the cover at the support pole position and leeched thru. Tape might be leftover from sealing the front edge of the cockpit cover for a long road trip. Probly took pics and got it them up as soon as it got there.

That skeg is missing a small section on the back....2 years ago I had the same chunk missing on one and paid about $75 to have the corner welded back on. The carpet "stain" is probably just water but because it is right between the bolsters that is the area that gets the worst foot traffic. I have pulled my cockpit carpet out and powerwashed it to remove any ground in dirt that accumlates in that area.

Thanks. The tape and stain I was thinking the same thing and figured no big deal it was more the outdrive I was concerned about. Does it look like to you that a end piece is broken off? Click on there site if you didn't and see what you think. I e-mailed Shogren so I'll see if I get a response. I don't really expect an answer until after the first of the year because I figured they might be closed for Christmas and New Years. It's around a 3 hour drive to get there and I don't want to drive that far if it's not worth it.
