very nice boats....inboard diesel CC's are my preferred way to fish offshore. You can leave those things on all day and not worry, and great for trolling.

My dad is looking for a small cc to fish. They looked to be one of the toughest, best built, small cc I've seen. What's the price for a inboard? and for a outboard?

Rob whats that mean? You don't think thats my kind of boat

John, i think they are expensive w/ the diesel, and still pretty pricey for a 20ft.

Saw that it's nice. Also like the yellowfin. Actually the small fountain is nice too. What does the north rip go for with a outboard? Around 50-60K or so is what we're looking for.

One of the finest boats you can buy. 60-65k. Yes it's expensive for a 20 but it looks and has the feel of a 23'. Deep and built to almost perfect tollerances.

http://www.northrip.net/ Kyle is the builder, very straight forward, does not sell direct, only through dealers. Good Luck Jeff

Jeff, what did you end up with? Rob, I think we might go check them out before we go to the Miami show. I doubt North Rip will be there. This way he will have something to compare to.

I never bought one, their next offering is a 29 which is too big, still in design. Im looking for a 24-25 twin. My next choice is a Southport, but really liked the North Rip better, just wish they had a inbetween model with twins. Im in no hurry at the moment, priorities have changed in my life. Good luck finding a boat, a lot of good fishing models out there. Jeff
