Im sure this has been talked about before on here but what is everyones opinion Comp? Crane? Lunati? I will be using one of these in my stock 454's with rect. heads and gil exhaust with dry pipes

Howard do a nice RV cam that works great in a boat. You can find them on eBay under LBW engines. I got two and they are great. I cut some base circle off one and pushed it to 600 lift. Stock they are 226@ 50 and 544 lift i think. I will post the address is i can find it. Ther are 125 US dollars. Cheep. My cam guy checked them out. They are hard and true and well finished. Jas

For your application, they all make nice cams and some of the same companies use the same cam cores[base material from the same source].I use Crane for the lower HP engines and use Bullet cams for the high HP engines if that is any help.

All of them grinde and make nice cams, comp cams arree out the ass and every where, depending on the drind ya want, they all are good, anybody know where general kinetic's went to????
