Both the wife and I have taken two courses and both passed with flying colors.
Only a FOOL would not want to know and learn the rules of the road, the laws and be as safe as possible.

anybody born after july 1, 1972 in MD is required to take the course. Seems a lot of people don't bother with it though.
I'm a proponent of creating a drivers license for boating with testing similar to that of autos. I took the boaters safety course when i was 9 and only missed 2 questions. I feel it is a good introduction to boating safety (like the test for a learners permit), but it doesn't go far enough.
