I know this probably doesn't help you much, but I came across this add: http://www.boatshop24.com/web/en/suc...1&totalcount=2
a while ago.
Apparently a company in Germany has an upgrade kit that should make the 6.2 capable of 375HP. Cost around 5500 USD. Exhaust looks pretty cool. I would guess you should be able to find similar kits in the US.

There was a 6.2 Scorpion intake for sale on ebay and in the classified section at one time.

Procharger and Whipple both make supercharger kits for the 6.2.

The whipple def. gets it a big boost from the charts I've seen. I checked into a procharger back in Sept. It will only work on certain yr. 6.2's. The prob. is w/the placement of the tb on the intake. Certain yrs. had the in the center and others had them closer to the front. i don't understand why Procharger doesn't make two different intake tubes to solve this somewhat simple prob.

I am thinking about a boat with 6.2's. I was curious what it would take to get them to 400+HP or if i should be looking at custom powered small blocks.

We sell & install both.. I am a bit more preferential to the procharger kits. The 6.2's with closed cooling are the ones that the kits wont work on. You would need to do a lot of mods and remove other items.. BTW, the Procharger & whipple @ 5lbs will make more than 375hp that the German kit does.. The money is much better spent on an sc system..
