Blower on HP 500

Blower on HP 500
My mate has a 30 foot racer with a HP 500. He has just bought a blower and manifold off a 575sc. What do we need to to get 700 hp from this set up. We have a set of etops. Thanks. Jason

Intercooler, and a smaller pulley.
make sure the rest of the motor is up to the task as well.
I would go through the heads, upgrade the valves, make sure you have enough fuel pressure and volume.

700 is a long way from 500. I don't think that even the smaller pulley and an intercooler will get you there. Keep in mind that you are going to really spin the blower to try and get there. Heat problems aside, I don't think the blower will last if you can get there. Just my .02

you wil probably need to change the cam as well. esentialy you have everything else. the 575 is a 502 i believe. and the differences in the main components is minimal.
