Mark, Do you remember Kenny's black Lincoln with the Roush motor in it?
I believe his old red lyman named 'Whopper" had Roush motors in it also, I remember it surprising a couple of fast boats.

Yes Lee,, and a lot of fisherman too, back then fishing boats wern't like today's Fountain's & Donzi's. Both of Kenny's fishing boats were Cary's,, fast,, they even used then as pace boats. Mark

Kenny Black sold the Rhino to Jerry Girschner who raced it in a few race's, then pulled the engine's to put in his new Active cat Blue Max, then sold the Mirage to some one out east to race again, that was the last I heard of it. The Wolverine hull wound up with Jim Cleym of Lance, Aero, Awesome boats, to make a new mold, I believe the project was scraped and the hull Too.

Friends of mine Kevin Mathis & Big Fish have Pete's old 29' Mirage pleasure boat, they have it painted & lettered the same way as the original Wolverine Mirage, it also has staggerd chevy motors and a 3 man bolster.

sorry to hijack the thread, but...
how hard would it be to change out the framed windshield on this boat for the plexi one shown in the pics on this thread of these 2 boats?

Those are not plexi they are hard fairings, out of fiberglass or alum, painted black. If your good with wood and fiberglass you could make one,, all it take's is time. My 38' Scarab has one, maybe you could find a used one? and modify it.
