when you say it hops do you mean it porpoises? Have the bottom checked for hook. I know the original 36 my buddy ownd actually had a bar bells glassed into it by eliminator to try to get it to stop. Scrubs huge speed. What gears are you currently running?

135 gears........no hook the center pod hase a rocker and sponsons have very large steps .....................you cant force the boat it likes down wind run better .............thats weird to me in a cat Ive allways stuck them into the wind for a good run ...................this is the 1997 power boat cover boat refit with tall deck 632s 955 hp tunnel ram pump gas motors and dry sump #6 drives .........................all the help I can get I'll take.we ran 120mph with the bow changing altatude 5 feet before we aborted the run ..........................turned around went down wind and ran 132mph flat and smooooooth ????????????????????

Strange.... We are always faster in the wind but if you are porpoising I would maybe talk to a good prop guy. It may have to much stern lift. Let me call some guys and see what they did to there 33s to get them to stop.
