Bravo 1 Drain/Fill Plug O Ring Part #
#1
Anyone know the Merc part number for the Black O-Rings that go on the Drain/Fill Plugs on a Bravo 1.
Went to my dealer and they gave me these blue flat nylon washers..... and they don't fit... too big! They're not sure what I need.
Anyone know the part #'s?
Or I guess I can just go to an auto or parts store and try to match them up.
Thanks!

You can check the exact number at:

I've never seen an o-ring on the drain screw, it's either the older style brown cork, or as you described the newer flat blue gasket.

East,
does the drain plug have a ridge on it that the orings fits into? I have seen older units with the Oring and the ridge. The ridge in the plug holds the oring from getting squashed.
Not sure about parts, I have just replaced the plug and use the "now old standard' fiber washer. There is a new rubber washer, but I dont have the number on the top of my head.
You can go to the hardware store and get an appropiate oring and be all set. Dont try to use the fiber washer if the plug has the ridge.. Hope this makes sense..

I installed one of the new drain plug kits with the yellow washer the other day and it leaked on PSI test.. I didnt have a lot of time to check further, but the old blue fiber washer didnt leak. So I will be watching the new ones in the future. I have not had problems with the new yellow rubber washer in the past..
So I agree with mtgbiker.. probably should update them. Although I did have a customer that liked the Orings. Not sure if he had seen any leakage problems.
