Default Bravo XZ drain plug washers (or not)

I am refilling my Bravo XZ but there appears to be no washers on either the top or bottom drain plugs. I didn't see any come off.

There looks like a copperish colored band but it is very thin.

I checked on the BAM site and they show that the top screw definitely has a washer but I still am unsure about the bottom screw.

Anybody know for sure?

Thanks!

Mine has O-rings. Top & Bottom. I just drained oil this last weekend & checked the o-rings to make sure they were still OK

Hope this helps. I just changed the oil on my XZ's a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time I did it myself.

All I had was the "copperish colored band" also. By accident I left the one off on the starboard drive on the lower drain plug. The next morning I had an ounce of oil on the floor.

Discovered what had happened, put the washer on and no problems.

Good luck

Thanks guys.

I found that the copper washer does comes out when you least want it too like after the drive is full.

All back to gether now.
