The boat is a 27 excalibur, bravo drive, 550hp aprox. @ prop, like to spin around 5300-5400 rpm, 4,500 pounds advertised weight of boat, and notched transom. Looking for best mid-range and cruise. Was spinning a 24 Bravo with 400 hp. Where should I start now?

what was the data with the old motor? I can run some numbers if you give me the gear ratio, motor, prop pitch, WOT RPM and WOT MPH.
