Default What Tires are you rolling on?

I need new tires really bad for my Chevy 2500HD they are 265/75/R16 10 ply. What is a good tire at a good price to put on a tow vehicle?

Yokohama Geolander HT/S G053 LT265/75R16 123Q(E) for the 2500HD

I have been putting Yoko's on all of my company vehicles, good combination of handling, ride and mileage.

I have found that they also have excellent sidewall stiffness, which makes for a great towing or load carrying tire. Generally cheaper that the Michelin's

We run them on GM 2500hd and 3500hd as well as on all our Chevy express service vans.

Michelin's on my dually now; E-load rated.

For a SRW truck, I would buy BFGoodrich All Terrain KO. Great tire, great looks, great traction when needed; and come in all sizes and specs. They are not the cheapest though.

I got the same truck, and I went with 265’s Michelin M/S E rated. The BF's are really popular, I have not heard anyone complain about them. When I was comparing ratings- wet traction, mud traction, snow traction the Michelins outperformed the BF’s, therefore I went with Michelins. I do a lot of Highway driving, and open mud tread tires do nothing for me ascetically.

Switched from Michelins to the BFG's on my Excursion and even put a set of g-Force T/A KD's on the Porsche 928GTS. They make excellant tires I think anyway.

I just found out recently that Michelin owns BF Goodrich much to my surprise.
