What Tires are you rolling on?
#21
My '05 F 350 diesel came with General Tires. I have 53k on them now, and they are a little over halfway worn. I'll be buying new tires soon. I don't want this experience again. This is what you get with a Dunlop blowout at 80 mph.
My 99 F 150 had Goodyear ATS tires on them, and they were fantastic, but I can't find them in the size for my F 350.

Yokohama Geolander HT/S G053 LT265/75R16 123Q(E) for the 2500HD
I have been putting Yoko's on all of my company vehicles, good combination of handling, ride and mileage.
I have found that they also have excellent sidewall stiffness, which makes for a great towing or load carrying tire. Generally cheaper that the Michelin's
We run them on GM 2500hd and 3500hd as well as on all our Chevy express service vans.

I put the BF Goodrich A/T E rated on my 01 3500 Silverado and love them. They were about 2/3 the price of the Firestone / Bridgestone through Tire Rack. When I bought them they were on sale for $98 or something like that.

If ya want the ultimate in towing, swap out for a set of either Brentz or Rickson custom drilled 19.5s and go with the Michelin XDE+2s in probably a 245/70r19.5. just grab your wallet.

New on Monday I went with 258/75/R16 Bridgestone Revo A/T''s in a "D".... I had 265/75/R16 Mich. MTX's "E" but I wanted a bigger tires. I know they are "D' but I had the same ones on my old HD and never had one issue.
