Default Stereo Question????

Hey guys I have a 1989 Formula 272 i've already put a new head unit ,Infinity 6.5's and Infinity 6x9's.I'm getting ready to put a couple subs in and just want to see if anyone has put them up the sides of their boat, and how they sound.I two 10in subs that i'm going to put about 1500 watts to.I have storage that goes up each side and am thinking about putting them in truck style boxes and putting up towards the front.Anyone done this, wonder how it sounds and how good you can hear it..Thanks Guys

There's a boat locally here that has 2 10's in each gunnel and sounds really good. He removed the panels and built enclosures for them though...

I tried to do that in mine but couldnt' get the panels off. They must be glued or siliconed on because they wouldn't budge. I ended up putting 4 Kicker marine 10's under the rear seat that sound okay...

you have plenty of headroom putting 1500 watts into an 800 watt load. You'll never even stress the amp. Which amp btw?

Here are the specs.....

AUDIOBAHN A2300HCT
600 Watts x 2 Channels RMS @ 2 Ohms
1200 Watts x 2 Channels RMS @ 1 Ohm
2400 Watts x 1 Channel RMS @ 1 Ohm Bridged
This is close to what it looks like, but underneath the flames is gloss black and the flames are chrome...I think this amp is a little over kill but this way when I want to upgrade the subs I won't have to buy another amp.....
