not knowing what type of blend is in the 93 octane with todays blends ,does any body know anything about fuel at the pump as to what we are actually getting and or how to find out.also is an octane boost such as the ams oil series 2000 ok vs 100 octane no lead race gas.

I can't answer all your questions but I ran 100 octane fuel all last year with over 20lbs of boost and had no issues with detonation.

I was told by my amsoil rep that there octane boost( like all others)that it raises 87-89 fuel 5-7 octane numbers but it doesn't raise 93 octane all that much,does not make it race fuel,good for spring time in fuel tank to give it a little boost,or raising 89 to 93

100 is way better than 93 with boost

Race fuel will always give you a better octane but the AMSOIL stuff is good. It gets something like 3 points on 93. It comes in 55 gallon drums as well.

Octane boost doesn't work all that well. When is says it raises the octane it does.......... in points. If it says it will raise it 3, then you got from 87 to 87.3!
Try Tk-7 from Tal industries, or Klotz Hi-Trate, or just go to the paint store and buy Tolulene.
