hello guy's i took in exchange a 1997 baja hammer. that boat read 100% humid in the transom but is not delaminated. my servey guy told me to sandblast the thansom and let it dry with the air. i was thinking about bring it into a wood dryer or something like that because the boat is sold and i have to deliver it soon

There is NO quick fix for this. If you are 100% then the transom is going to be TOTALLY SOAKED. time to pull the engines and transom assemblies and preplace it..... IMO of course

yep . . .it takes months of being in a dry atmosphere to even come close to getting dry. there have been a few attempts to come up with a heated vaccum assisted pad that can be placed on wet areas but in all reality they dont really workthat well on a transom. quicker to de-rig it and get the sawzal out hate to say it.

glassdave, I was in the shop over the winter and they didn't seem to have them... does anyone know where Randys' last hull went though ?? He had a 55' with the high deck and the accomodations that he was building for himself just before the accident that we were going to put turbines in... project never went through as one might imagine... but always wondered where the hull went to...
