Default How many mile can you drive a day

I'm heading out Wed to pick up the new little boat from Idaho and bringing it back to NJ. Realistically how many miles a day can I expect to put in or actual drive hours? I've never done cross country before, longest trip has been about 700 miles. Can I expect to do a 1000 a day?

Done 1300 miles in 22 hours straight through. My buddy helped me out and took a 5-hour shift in the middle of the drive. Was completely bug-eyed at the end. Too much for one day towing a boat. Will never do it again. 800-900 is reasonable, 1000-1100 tops.

I run from Portland Maine to Jacksonville, 1200 miles. fuel stops only. It's a long day. 900 miles is no problem....if your used to it.

Depends on how you fell I did Denver to NJ once in 47 hrs I slept about 10 so 36 hrs of driving.Just drive till you are tired then stop don't push it.Even if you pull over for an hour in a truck stop and sleep for an hour.Word of advice bring a baseball bat a lot of those rest areas are pretty desolate

I used to do 1,230 miles straight thru from N.J. to Cape Coral Fl. by myself..............as I've gotten older, can't do it anymore
it kicks my a ss. I now usually go to Daytona or Orlando and
call it quits.

If you can bring someone with you, even if they just do a couple of hours it really helps. Getting old sucks.
