Default Best Places to Stay LOTO

Home search is going a bit slower than expected.
So, looking for a place to stay for long weekends.

- Good launch faciliity
- Ample trailer parking
- Ample slips (28'+)
- Reasonably priced

Doesn't have to be too fancy. Comfort and convenience is fine.

Of course, if anyone knows of any 3+2 or 2+2 lakefront homes (with slip/lift) available for full summer-long rental, all leads appreciated.

Thanks for thoughts.

I've stayed at Lazy Days condo's right off of Hwy 54. Decent slips deep in the back of a no-wake cove. Ramp is not the best (I've launched my 26' there, but it's a chore), but PB2 is just down the road and has the best ramps at the lake. Decent rooms, community pool and nice location on the lake. My $.02.

i heard something that now they passed ordinance that all new docks (cept at marinas) now must have 12-20 slips & no larger than 30' in length. Have you heard this? I would think w/ all the new condos going in, going to hinder some bigger sales.

We like these.

Great location at 17mm way in the back of a no wake cove. You have to launch at the state park about 5 miles away by land and water. They say you can launch a 27' at their ramp, but don't do it.
