Hi,
I have a 1986 Stinger 260. I was looking at my drives today and noticed that the starboard drive goes down further than the port drive. It got me wondering, just how far down should each drive go. Also, how do I adjust this?
Thanks Much!
Cheers,
Chris

my 260 is the same way. I never really noticed it that much until I put a tie bar between the two drives. I had it to the shop last winter to have the gimbal brg's, bellows and trim senders done. They went over the whole assembly and said they were in good shape... So??? If anyone finds something out. Please post it.

I forget the measurement, its in the book somewhere, on alphas theres two senders, one on each side of the gimble, ones the trim sender the other is a trim limit switch, playing with the limit switch might fiw t., when you trim up untill it stops (not trailer position) do they stop at the same place??

Trimming up(not the trailer setting), they seem to stop at the same place...only the lower setting is different. Kind of strange...but I guess once I am out on the water, I adjust them anyhow so it doesn't make much difference.
Thanks For the Info.!
