I am looking for the best top end prop for my 358
525's i have hydromotive 26 5blade. i really like the planning time and fuel economy but have dropped top end speed.
would like to hear the top end and prop combo's on this boat .
It is a 2003 and I have own it since new.

Try a 26P 4 blade although I think you may end up too high on RPM's

if your running a 26 5 blade now . try a 28 pitch 4 blade possably labed that will give you more top end speed . you will have to be a litle bit easy out of the hole

Our 2001 358 with 500 efi's had bravo 1 28" pitch. They were stock and if we still had the 358 I would have lab finished them to get more top end. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replys, Just to let you know I have run 28,s labbed for a different boat -28 eliminator- and a set of 30's labbed( should have bought ) to try. The 30's gave the best top end . the 28's were just not right for the heavier application. I think they didn't have enough cup , but I will leave that to the pros.
So have you guys had a pro like mercury or throttles up
lab a set of props for the 358 and if so what kind of top end #;s are you seeing?

Never did props on our 358, but need to make the call for our 386.
