Sonic 358 Top Speed
I was thinking of putting blowers on my 358 with twin 525's and I was wondering what type of power and speeds that have been achieved with this hull. Any input would be appreciated.

You will have to go with a Whipple charger since a Procharger system will not fit. There isn't room in front of your air cleaner for a Procharger.
PS. New boat is still on the way.

Viper,
I have been looking into the same thing with my 500 EFI's and was wondering what kind of speeds might be attainable. Any idea of what the conversion to do this might cost?

A friend of mine has a 2003 358 with Cobra 650 blower motors that ran in the low 90's. He replaced them with nat. asp. Cobra 750's and he's running about the same 93 or so. He also has 2" shortie sportmasters running 32P bravo1's. He's still messing around with different props and such.

Thunder, do you or any one else know what kind of speed gain can be achieved with the 2" shorty Sportmaster as compared to the Bravo 1 XR.
