I found this on another forum and just cannot believe this combo will do 100+ in 2-3 foot chop with 630hp and Alpha drive as the owner claims.

i think it might do that with the new setup., I figured bullsh!t when first looking at it, thinking they were going to just do a bolt on of the 350, but christ they have over 12k easy in the new set up they put in it. So it isn't a low budget build..

He seems determined, that's for sure. Stingrays are fast little boats. But he got one prior to ther ZP hull and that would have added a few ticks. No Stingray will go through real 2-3 foot chop though. 1' was enough to beat me senseless in mine. I suppose if he throws enough power at it, he could break 100, but if he starts claiming that, and it bugs anyone enough, call his number and call him out with a GPS. See how willing he is to go then.

If the dyno numbers are real it should be damn fast. I don't see that alpha living for to long though. I think alpha's are stronger than what people give them credit for but that is a little over the top.

I am not running anywhere near New Hampshire with some 'tard running 600HP+ through an Alpha drive in a 19 year old 22 foot nearly flat bottom boat.
I don't even want to be around to pick up pieces.

No it is not my project I have just been reading some of the other posts made by the project owner and some of the posts just did not seem honest. Trim tabs are band-aids for bad hull design's, The Alpha is alot faster than the Bravo, Four Blades are more efficent than three blades in all conditions, The boat has gone 102 with NOS etc. I believe the boat can run but 94 in 2-3 foot chop does not seem possible and I really do not know and was just curous.

Seems he is real determined, read the thread on the stingrays owners site. But haven't seen any video or pics of a gps on the thread.........and sure wouldn't beleive 2-3 ft chop cause mine would beat the crap out of me @ 20-30 in true 2 ft chop, but mine has zp hull think the older ones had a little more v in it.
