I have 525sc stock, great engines however last two years after winterzing wont start fouled plugs runs horrible. Is their such a thing as too much stabile in the fuel, also should you not fog the carbs with blowers pushing to much oil on the plugs Please help with any suggestions?

The fogging is probably the reason for the fouled plugs. My 525sc would start after winterization without any issues. Just had to get some fuel into the carbs and would fire like it was only sitting overnight. I never fogged it.

i have a client with the same engines. i fog them every year. never an issue. i remove the fuel water sep, drain fuel from carbs, remove half the fuel from water sep's and refill with my fogging solution(
) and then run engines.once the engines begib to smoke i give a lil shot of fog thru the venturis just to coat the rotors and done.
i also change the spark plugs every year as to keep a clean burn. i feel once en engine is fogged , the plugs are never the same , so i throw them out.
good luck

What do you use as a fogging solution?
I have been spraying fogging oil down the carbs until it smoke. Really tough to start after winter storage.

I don't have blowers but I fog before I put it away every year, and change plugs at the start of the next season as part of my pre season maintainance. The plugs are ruined (carbon fouled) from fogging if you do it right.

I have a B&M 250 on a 502 with Crane ignition. Fog at the end of the year until a blue cloud is covering area. Lights right up in the spring. Check plugs after a few minutes of ruinning and they look fine. Might be the Crane box?
