I have a holley 850 and need to run a vacuum line to the distributor. Which do I use? It has to be no vacuum at idle and ramp up with rpm. Thanks

I was but my crane box died so I went with a MSD box. I still have the crane dist which has vac and rpm adjustments. I noticed a loss in top end power and realized I was running no advance so I went to set up the crane and got the RPM advance worked out but now it runs real rich and stutters. I also noticed my fuel pressure is at 10 psi and drops to 9 psi at wot. With everything locked out it seems to run fine but no top end power.
Thanks for help

as for the fuel pressure, it should be mor earound 7 psi.
what kind of sock ignition did you have. typicly most conversions use the stock mercruiser, and guys usually use a v-6 module, thunder bolt 4 or 5 h.p ones also work well. they give you a total advance of 34 when timing is set right. then add on the msd for better spark/ ignition.

i myself have done this, but as of late started usind the msd digital 6 plus, as it has numerous timing curves built in. as well as rev limits and inital timing settings.
