Engine Heat

Has anyone had this problem?

The boat runs good everything is fine, then after running the boat for about 1 to two hours the port engine gets hot. Shut it down and wait until its cold run it again same thing.

Raw water pump needs to be checked,or its time for a new water pump if you have one.

What year and model engine?
FWC or RWC?
Last time raw water impellers changed?
