Default Mystery oil leak

Ok, before I lose it, how do you find "mystery" leaks. I have a 496 HO Mag that dribbles oil every once an a while. I'm in a rack so it does piss off the owner below me. I own my rack and he's a renter so they moved him. Anyway, I've put clean diapers in the bilge and see nothing. I suspect it might be at the rear of the motor. I had a mechanic look at it today and take it for a run and not one ffing drip. He had a mirror out and everything. I bet in a couple days it will again.

Maybe it's more venting than anything...

Put some oil dye in and use a black light to find it.You can also use a good degreaser and run it then use baby powder to find the source.
good luck.

Napa and Autozone sell the dye and black light kits. Work great!

Good luck,
