I HAVE A GEN V 454 MAG EFI. WITH 500 EFI CAM AND GIL EXHAUST. IT RUNS SO RICH I CAN'T KEEP PLUGS IN IT. DOES SOMEONE KNOW THE STOCK FUEL PRESSURE FOR A STOCK 454 MAG ?

Fuel pressure for MEFI 1 engines is 36 PSI, MEFI 3 is 43 PSI.

ive got 20 bucks that says that the water temp switch ( not the gage sender, the water temp SENSOR ) is unplugged or you took the thermostat out...

only way its fuel pressure is if the return line is blocked solid

thanks for the tip, i've had problems with that switch before reading to cold. I do have a stock stat in it. looking for a scan tool?

scanner will tell you what temp the sensor THINKS it is... if cold will do exactly what you say. or if stat bad and motor really IS cold then will do same thing.
