I would like to remind everyone that the Fun Run out of Winthrop Harbor (IL/WI border) will be held on 7/28. The Winthrop Harbor Yacht club will be having this event in a joint effort with the Chicago Powerboat Club and Northern Illinois Offshore club. The run will start at Winthrop Harbor at 11am sharp and run to Racine for lunch. After lunch you decide where you would like to run, Milw, Windpoint, raft off in cove south of Racine or stay at Racine and checkout the boats.

Return to the yacht club for cocktails at 5pm, dinner 6pm, raffle 7pm. Everyone had a great time last year and I am sure this years will be even better.

You need to signup now so plans can be made for the dinner, $15 per person.

Just wanted to let everyone know that this is turning out to be a nice little group of boats/people. So far we have 35 boats and 80 people signed up for this event.

If you exit Russel Rd. at the state line there is a gas station that many frequent at Sheridan Rd.
