How many quarts of fluid does a #4 speedmaster out drive hold?

I know my #3 holds a ton......A full merc racing jug

you should be able to pump the flluid in from the lowest hole (slot head fitting) untill it comes out of the very top srew hole in the upper housing.... if i am not mistaken at least 1.5 gallons

A number 4 SSM holds 6.8 quarts of gear lube. So 8 quarts should cover it including some for the resevoir. If it has spacers, 1",2", or a 3" each spacer holds approx. 3/4 of a quart.
