Default Jabsco Brass Sea Pump

I need to again replace my impellor on my sea pump (old style with fuel pump provision, but blocked off). I dont trust the pump I have and was looking at the Jabsco model.
Question is will the Jabsco accept the press on pully I currently have or will I need to get the bolt on pulley?
Also anyone have any opinions on the Jabsco pump?

I do not know about the pully but I used to run their pumps on my motor before the new motors that have the fuel pumps on them and I loved them.

Default Good question

Good question, That stock plastic pump cracks if you look at it wrong. Definitley NOT trustworthy. I cracked 1 just painting the damn thing on the bench. Handle carefully!

The Jabsco pumps are what I have used for years in every boat I have owned. dont remember any issues with the pulley but I think mine were all bolt on. Far superior compaired to the plastic ones.

If I need to buy a whole pump, I'll only go with the Jabsco.
Looks like you need the bolt on pulley.

Pretty sure you need the bolt on pulley. Hopefully someone will confirm if it will align with your setup.
I just bought a Jabsco on Monday (Labor Day). Went to replace impellor but the housing didn't look so great. Nobody that was open & close by had the housing kit so I took the hit to the groin and just bought the Jabsco for $270. Bolted back in easily and enjoyed the day on the water.
I'll be going with crank-mounted pumps soon and I'll be selling this Jabsco...
