I've found one for sale. Pretty sweet looking boats, but I don't know anything about the model. They were not made for very long - I think 1989 and 1990. Does anybody know how many were built?
If anybody has any first hand experience with the 27ft/8 meter carrera can you please tell me about it? How does it handle in the rough? How is the cabin space? How is the cockpit space? Do they hold up well? Are they fast/slow? How is the bilge - tiny or plenty of room to work? How is the freeboard? Does it handle better with twins or single engine? Any overall weaknesses/strengths? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well they are a great handling boat in rougher water. Weight about 5500 lbs and have a 27 degree v hull instead of the usual 24 degree v. So it cuts through waves nicely. Almost looks like a Pantera. Mine has a single 540 CI engine and runs 73 to 75 MPH depending on fuel/people in boat. Actually thinkin about sellin mine. Lookin at a Cigarette Bullet.
