30+ foot Fountain. Primarily white in color with red and black "FOUNTAIN" on the side. Possibly black and white checkers on rear part.
Involved in a fatal crash up from Havasu today. Last seen heading south from
the Havasu area. Possibly spotted near Cattail Cove.
MCSO and LPCSO Boats on the Lake now searching.
If anyone knows this boat sees it or has seen it, notify Mohave County Sheriff's Office. If in the Havasu Springs area, the La Paz County Sheriff's Office. Or The San Bernardino Sheriff's Office if on the California side.
If you see it on the road, on the trailer, get license plate of vehicle or trailer and Registration numbers of boat, and call 911.
Incident happened mid afternoon today, August 9th. Not details as of yet.

Am I crazy but how many boat ramps are their at Havasue?? Couldn't the cops just cover all the ramps and do search of the lake until they find the boat??
Very sad, regardless of fault one should always offer assistance to those in need

Fountains aren't a dime a dozen on the west coast. I've probably seen 10 on Lake Pleasant where I live and I probably know half of the owners. Somebody in LHC knows who this guy is. It would be like a west coast boat being involved in an accident back east. Somebody is going to remember the boat and somebody knows who owns it.

I was in havasu all week and have a 29 fountain. I had my boat looked at and inspected 4 times on friday because mine looks somewhat like the one they are looking for and looked at again on my way home at 6 am today in parker. the la paz sherrif did not know about this accident until 40 minutes before i got there( I showed him the newspaper article about it) because somebody called 911 as I was leaving town. It's good to see people showing concern about this but the sherrif not knowing that it happened bothers me because that is one of the main ways out of havasu.
