looking to wire a water wich bildge switch so a warning light on the insturment panel will go on when the water level rises and turns the pumps on. Anybody have a wiring diagram to do this. Thanks in advance and happy boating! SC .

i would just junction off the same wire that comes from your auto bilge switch; often there is a wire that goes to your dash that lights up your bilge switch. my scarab's lighted switch light comes on when the pump is operating. you coud put an extra light in the circuit to warn of water in the bilge. you could also put a separate auto switch in the bilge that would just activate the light. hope this helps, good luck. -jeff

If all you want is the switch to turn on a light when the blige turns on its real easy.....the bilge switch has two wires.....one goes to power the other to the bilge pump......take your light...one of the wires from the light goes to ground...the other (most likely a red wire) will hook up to the wire coming off the bilge switch that goes to the bilge pump. When the switch is triggered it sends power to the bilge and also tot he light....
