I have a 29 fountain fever with a 500 h.p. and a bravo one outdrive. i was running yesterday for about 2 hours with no problems then the motor started overreving i backed the throttle down and could only idle back home im guessing i spun a prop but not for sure any ideas.

What year is your boat? With age can come coupler damage.

it's a 2000 and just found out this morning it is the coupler hope to have it fixed by the weekend
