Default Spun a coupler

Any Merc wiz could tell me the diff between old still coupler part #861523A9 and new one #861523A7 apart form the $50 or so.

And how come the new is not listed for the 502 Mag MPI I have but I read here it works.
Thanks for the help and here is the usuall paiment for advice!

710-861523A 9 is $309.17 Listed for non hi po..

710-861523A 7_ is $373.78. Listed for 8.2HO only..

710-861523A11 is $442.58. Listed for Hi po and trawlers..

Too funny.. Yup, the boys at Merc have decided our performance boats put the same stresses on the couplers as a trawler. God help us all

GL You gonna be ready by this Friday ole pal ?? The engine will take you about 2 hours Tops to pull out of the boat and get the coupler off. Not that difficult at all. Let me know if you need anything ok
