fastboy, A full repower, pulley to prop nut is good. Hydraulic steering another good choice. Gauges are a toss up, You can add the new smartcraft displays . It really makes analog gauges obsolete. Great start with a new boat new warranties. Happy boating.

alot of these boats are running around with regular bravos.....XR's aren't perfect, but for the power used it will be OK.
ALSO, If you are looking at a complete re-rig you REALLY need to consider the Arneson ASD-8 (i believe it's the 8) kit. It seems expensive until you consider it comes with the belhousings, transom plates, hydraulic steering, and drives. If I remember correct a twin setup was around $22-25K but buying ALL that stuff for a twin bravo set-up will be about the same. The reports I found all claimed a nearly 10 MPH gain at both cruise and top end speeds with the surface drive set-up.

I agree - you would really have a hard time selling the arneson set up in the midwest. Kind of interesting, as I think the set up has a lot of superior qualities, but resale is not one of them.
