I'm busy putting my Super Stock cat together in my head (I already have over $100 committed from a sponsor!). The rules say this class is based on the use of 1998 and later 2.5-280hp-153ci Mercury offshore race engines. When I went to Mercury's website I found something called a Champ. Is this "Champ" what I would run if I can find 2500 more $100 sponsors?

NO .....the Champ motor is not the 280 ROS motor , they don't sell that as a complete motor at this time. If you have any questions about build or buying a stock class boat at this time please call me. With $100,000.00 you can race 2 seasons in stock class........

Screamandfly.com is a good source for 280 parts. I've alot of stuff their. For a $100,000 you can buy my 30 AMT race ready and race it as long as you want.
