Get the Formula. It's 5 feet bigger!

Depends on what he wants. The Formula will have a bigger cabin but the Fountain with same power will be faster and better in rough water.Look at and drive both then decide

How fast is a 35 Fountain Ex with 500EFI's????? A 353 Fastec will run 80-82mph.

Agree that Fountain will be faster power for power but disagree about it being better in the rough. A 353 Formula will very much hold its own in rough stuff.

I have driven both and personally I liked the Fountain better. I don't really like the windshield on the Formula, to much like a Sea Ray. Both are nice boats I think you would be happy with either one. Just my 2c

I have to say it's not the windshield that makes the boat! I'd look beyond the w-shield but understand the fun of not having a windshield... I ALSO understand the fun of having one!

No bugs and flies, no wind, no rain... And, when I want some of that s"hit, I JUST STAND UP !!!

But I think the ride is smoother in a formula and also think a Fountain would be faster given the same HP... Drive both before! good luck and... let us know what you choose!
