Question Mercruiser 502 Gen VI

I have a twin engine set up in my boat and need more power,the engines are bored to 509 cui approx 600 HP N/A carburated,do anybody out there know if the 502 Gen VI standard blocks can be supercharged or do i have to change the blocks to bow tie blocks,and what blowers are the best to use.

markku how close to indy? if close call bill shumaker 317-862-3919. he seems to have a good system for these engines. i personnally am looking in having my engines supercharged. good luck.

Not close to indy at all i am located in Sweden Gothenburg.

No problem to supercharge them, keep compression around 8:1 and use inconel exhaust valves and severe duty intake and make sure your fuel system is up to the task.

I live in GBG as well.

Fontain 27 with a HP500 carb. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding a 525SC. What's your ride?

Fountain 39 made for the US Navy Seals,i have a few pictures in the propeller forum of it.
