Default how many hours before rebiuld on 525

I would like to know how many hours before a rebuild on a 525.....200 hours give or take and about 40%-50% of it is below 2k rpm.....pleaser use.....?

Probably around 350 to 400. We have 340 I think on ours. We did the top ends about a 100 hrs ago. They still run strong!

400-500 with proper maint.

Good time to rebuild the heads with all new parts and new roller lifters... Should be good for another 2-300 more hours with regular maint.!

Yea that to. They are very leaky!! Where's the pics of the new Motion Lowblue320??? The 525's are a great package for that boat.

Just curious, but why do you have almost half your hours below 2K rpms? Lots of no wake zones perhaps??

From what I am told it is not good for marine big blocks to run at low rpm for a large percentage of time.
