I have a beautiful swim platform that I was planning on installing on my '89 Force 320. However, I'm now the proud owner of a Force 370 which has an integral swim platform. With this Force 320 going on the market next spring, would I get more money from my Force 320 if I installed the platform to replace the teak platform or should I sell the red platform outright realizing the Force 320 would have less curb appeal? It is a swim platform from Extreme Marine that has been stripped and repowder coated. I estimate its worth at $1500 since the new ones are $2000.

Keep it for now and tell any potential buyer on your boat that you have it and will sell for addl $$$.
As far as getting $1500 for it, maybe, but probably not. I'm getting one custom made right now at LOTO and including the install, its going to be about $1700.

Prices are all over the map for swim platforms. You can expect to pay anywhere from $1700 (yours is the cheapest I've heard for a full platform) all the way up to $3000. The one I have sells for $2000 plus shipping..same one listed on:

The 35' red outlaw is the one I have...just as shiny!
I hate to keep this thing in my garage since it is scratch free and one day, something stupid will happen. So, I'm just wondering if it makes sense for an install or sell it. Thanks for the response.
