Default any muffler insight?

do you guys happen to know exactly our mufflers work? is the whole thing hollow inside or are there baffles and such? my 22 has one that apparantly has a small leak that has devoloped and I'm trying to figure out the best way to fix this. I found some aftermarkets which are close to the original thing (the vernalift group

but since its just a small leak I'd rather not have to buy new ones if I can avoid it. I love the sound with the mufflers so I'd rather not ditch them...although I am curious what some of the other styles cintek makes sounds like.

When I installed my 502, they started to leak from the volume going through. Remove them, mine came apart fairly easy..separate the upper from lower (make lines to re-align later)
Trim about 3'' off the inner part of exit tube, this will help breath easier, without noise gain. the simply start wrapping the seams with fiberglass matte. Sand high spots if needed, smooth out, paint. That is pretty much it.

If anybody has an extra set I am interested!!! call my cell anytime, thanks

Hadn't thought about selling my mufflers but I might! Kindda thought I might use them 1 day if I go back to stock. Mine have very low hours. What would you pay for a pair in good shape?

Default mufflers

do yourself a favor and get rid of the mufflers and call brownie at stainless marine and get them to make you the long risers and the manafolds for your pachanga.they have made quite a few and they work great.better gas consumption and better performance.easy to install.beat $$ you will spend.

Do you have any pictures of when you had your muffler in pieces? I am looking for info about how it is designed inside and would really appreciate if you could post, or email some.

And of cource if any one else has some too.
