Question Merc 500's.....

Of all the different things to do to an engine to get more hp, what is the single best way to go? I only want to do one thing right now so what should it be for overall gains? Supercharger, Blower, Headers, etc. ???

What are some of the pros and cons of chargers vs. blowers?

What is the average difference in hp gains between the two?

Supercharger and blower are the same thing. Maybe you're asking the difference between a centrifugal type supercharger and a Roots type supercharger.

So a Whipple charger is the same as a B&M blower?

Just a different name?

I wouldn't say they are the same thing. Same principle just a little different ways of going about it.
