Question Oil Filter for 454 Magnum 1990 Carb??

I noticed there are many filters that "fit"

Not sure which one to use?

Most are the same price, but the PH are more $$, but not sure why? And if they are better?

Also, noticed FRAM make a synthetic filter, that supposedly has better filteration, do they make one for my motor, and if so is it any good? (better than the stock, better than the PH?)

Thanks for the input in advance

I did a lot of research on this a few years back. I ended up choosing Baldwin B1441. It had the best of all worlds in my opinion. I don't remember the specifics. Do a search on oil filters here and you will find much info.

only fram to use would be the HP series. If you have a Chevy mount and it will fit in the space, thats the HP-4. Don't use any of the street Fram's.

Default 454 filters

Duke, I also have 1990 Twin 454s (carb) Just picked-up Oil and fuel/water seperators filters. Have always had good luck with NAPA GOLD. Numbers are 1086 Oil (has anti drain back feature) 1069 doesn't, 3364 fuel.
