I have State Farm for my 32. Previous owner did also. I have a 20 year history with my agent and he had to get an exception as underwriting was going to turn it down. Its also my 4th boat with them. Had one 6k claim about 5 years ago for a drive and it went smooth. The price can't be beat for $830/year.

This was the best I could find for New England coverage. Around $2800/year.

I don't have a "big" boat, but a 27ft/425 hp, and I pay $525/yr. He's my brother in law, but I don't get any special deals.

I'm not sure I want to say the name of my company as I'm not sure its a good idea to talk rates on here as I'm sure several ins companys are on here. This is my 4th boat with this co and agent and I've never had a claim. I have coverage anywhere around this great land and within 90 miles of shore. I have no layup and 2500 deduct for $1010 a year. My company is well aware of what my boat is and how fast it is.
