Will a motor such as a 525SC fit under the hatch of a 25 Outlaw?

Yes a small blower without an intercooler will probably fit but it will be tight.

It would have to be a lot like the 5252 SC.

Do a search here in the Baja section. Someone has done the exact thing you are asking about.

I had a 525 SC (Weind 'baby' blower) with chiller in my 97 24' outlaw. Fit like a glove with a little room to spare. Shouldn't be any difference in the engnine room of a 25 outlaw.

Fits, no problem. A 575SC even fits under the hatch of a H2x, and the 25OL has more space.

A chiller will add at least 50 HP. You can also change the pulley to get more out of that little Wiend blower but it ads heat and that's not good for the motor. That little blower already creates a lot of heat. The chiller helps with that big time thus, more HP. I had my 525SC rebuilt after I sucked a valve. When it was said and done it was putting out around 650hp.

Who makes super chiller? I googled it but didn't find anything.

If you go to hawkeyeboats.com they have a 25 outlaw for sale with a b&m blower on it look though the used boat section and there is a 1998 or 99 with a picture of the motor in the boat.
