quick Gen VI block question

quick Gen VI block question

Can anyone say for sure whether or not the Gen VI head mounting holes are blind (e.g. do not penetrate the water jackets)???

According to Dennis Moores Book Big Block Chevy Marine Engines all 502 engines are blind and 454s are not
