Miami Boat show 2008

I am getting ready to secure our reservations for the Miami show in Feb. Do most stay near the Convention Center (land show) or on the other side of Biscayne Bay (water show)?

We are looking forward to going. Who else is planning to go this year?

Most popular for the show attendees is somewhere in South Beach between 8th and 20th, within 2 blocks of the ocean. In this grid, you can walk to everything at night once the parties start, and there are free buses (albeit very slow) between the show locations.

You will spend the majority of your time in South Beach, except for when you come see me at the Marriott/in water show/AT display.

Still unsure at this point. It depends on what's "brewin" in the near future and at the time of the show.

Recommend stay by the convention center in south beach. Nice hotels are the Delano, Ritz, Loewes, Sagamore, etc. Shore Club, etc. You can walk to the convention center in minutes, and ride a short cab to the in the water show across from the fountainbleau. You should book a room soon.

Any mid priced places that anyone can recommend. We don't plan on spending too much time in the hotel.

Thanks
